Details: The Peace Lily makes a great house plant because it tolerates very low light and it flowers beautifully throughout the year. It likes moist but definitely not soggy soil, since too much water makes their leaves turn yellow and brown; but too little water makes the plant wilt dramatically. It likes warm temperatures and to be a little rootbound.

Plant Care:

Light: medium - low

Watering: Water every 1-2 weeks

Pet Parents: Toxic for pets

Plant Bio: The Spathiphyllum is a genus of around 40 plants known as Peace lilies. It’s native to the floor of tropical forests in Central America and South Asia, the reason why filtered light and high humidity makes the ideal environment for them. They benefit from occasional showers to clean their leaves of dust and other solids, but make sure to let the water drain completely from the planter. Filtered water is ideal since they can be sensitive to the chronline present in tap water.
